Adam Hughes

Adam Hughes is an American artist whose name is close to synonymous with the comic cover. He started out on interiors in the late 1980s, including Justice League America, before cover work took over his career.

His long stretches of covers for Wonder Woman and Catwoman at DC are among the most collected of the 2000s, and he has drawn covers for Marvel, Dark Horse, Dynamite and Titan as well.

Hughes works slowly and deliberately, with an illustrator's sense of light and design. Recent virgin variants include Black Cat, Gwen Stacy, Gun Honey and Amazing Spider-Man incentives.
