About the artist
The story behind the art
Bob Layton is an American artist, writer and editor. With David Michelinie he shaped Iron Man in the late 1970s and 1980s, including the "Demon in a Bottle" storyline, one of Marvel's best-known arcs.
He later became a key creative at Valiant Comics, and he has written and drawn across Marvel's line, including Hercules.
His recent cover work for Dynamite, on Terminator, Jonny Quest and Space Ghost, brings that classic polish to modern incentive virgins.
